"I modified the fronttow ring by using a piece of brass wire and replaced the"muffler guard" box on top of the tank with a thinnersheet styrene one. The model was painted using Polly-S modelpaints and Chroma brand airbrush colors. Golden brand gloss andmatte varnishes were used to finish the model. The mud wasmade by mixing small pieces of tissue paper, acrylic gel medium,and model paints. I modified Mark Deliduk's I.M.S. tip by soakingsteel wool in water and using the rust colored water as a wash onthe muffler and sides of the model; thanks for the tip Mark!Overall, an enjoyable project."
