| Saw this photo in one of the books: http://russiannavy.net/models/zis-5/Zis-5/zis5-guntruck.jpg and decided that I got to build it. Ive had a kit of the PST ZiS-5 and used it for the conversion. The conversion was pretty straight forward. The cabin was very simple and was scratchbuilt from styrene. The gun on the back was a naval 21-K 45mm anti-aircraft gun, which was a close relative of the 20-K gun mounted on most of the Russian tanks of the period, so I used a barrel from ARMO 45mm tank gun. The rest of the gun is scratchbuilt. |
