This site is completely free for viewers. There are no advertisements, spawning windows or other annoying gimmicks. This is because I choose to purchase my web space from a web site hosting service, rather than go through a "free" web site host. My monthly cost is not excessive, but I could have chosen to buy one or two new kits each month instead, with the same amount of money I now spend on this site.
The reason I mention this is because I want the viewers to be aware that this site has no official sponsors; all costs associated with building and maintaining the site are borne by me. Consequently, what I write is entirely up to my own discretion. I feel that my essays and reviews are unbiased, and I strive to keep them that way.
However, as much as I would like to purchase every kit ever made, my wife and the lack of money just won't let me, so I am more than happy to accept donations from manufacturers in the form of review kits, in exchange for the free advertising they receive. In the past, several manufacturers have sent me kits for review, and I am very appreciative for them.
As you can see I haven't changed much on this page, that is because what Doug said before also applies to me. I have however removed the manufacturers logo's below, I hope that they will continue to support the site like they did for Doug, I shall re-insert their logo's if they continue, to this end, any contributed item will have a scan of the parts put in the preview section A.S.A.P, the kit I will built out of the box as I think that it is important to show what can be made by anybody, rather than what the gifted can make out of it, for that there is the gallery. Donated kits will be built with priority given over the kits that I have bought myself and which won't be built out of the box and built as I would like to see it, although in any previews I will detail all the changes that I have made.
Anyone wishing to donate anything to the site should contact me at
and I will supply a postal address for the item.
